It's Chinese New Year tommorow! 8DD
 So, here's a simple drawing to celebrate lol lol. Check out my chinese calligraphy. Nice eh? XDD I'm kinda proud of it ya know..it has been years since I wrote my last one..hmm, 8 years ago? And..HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!! to whoever that celebrates XDD;;  ps: must remind self to update journal =3=;; edit : something's wrong with the right hand wtf (the thumb lol) edit2 : OMFG DD NOFREAKINWAY! XDD;; edit3 : changed the hand part XD Daily DeviationGiven 2008-02-11"In honor of Chinese New Year -albeit somewhat late- this incredible piece of art has such a unique style; a subtle combination of tradition and modernity blended together. It almost has a retro appeal though I can't quite describe it in words. A "simple drawing" as the artist says, however, the overall design and delicate patterns and colors make it absolutely marvelous. Wonderful job to the artist for her calligraphy skills as well, despite the 8 years since the last time she wrote one =). To everyone who may or may not celebrate this auspicious occasion, this piece of artwork symbolizes a new year, and a new beginning in the Year of the Rat." We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
